A few things to know about your batch documentation.
What does a Certificate of Analysis tell me?+
A Certificate of Analysis records the testing of one specific batch. It identifies the product and lot, the methods used, and the recorded results. It describes that batch, rather than the catalogue as a whole.
Are the online documents issued laboratory reports?+
Documents labelled “Vendor COA” are reports provided by the vendor for the stated product and batch. Specimen previews are illustrative only. If your lot is not listed, contact our team with the product name and complete lot number.
Request your issued report ↗How should I read the purity figure?+
Read the figure alongside the method and batch details in the issued report. A chromatographic purity figure is specific to the sample and analysis; it is not a guarantee about every batch of the product.
What other details should I check?+
Check the product name, lot number, test methods and results. The report may also record appearance, content or other tests. Read what is actually documented for that batch, and ask for clarification if a detail is missing.
What if the report doesn’t match my vial?+
If the lot or product does not match, contact our team with the lot number and a photograph of the label. We’ll help you find the correct documentation.
